"Jizashi" is a signature technique of Totsuka embroidery, and is a general term for the technique of creating patterns by combining one or several types of stitches while opening the grain of the fabric.
The appeal of this series is that even beginners can enjoy achieving the same finish as the sample by following the instructions.
The "Jizashi Continuous Patterns" series is already enjoyed by many people, but we have sometimes heard feedback such as, "I don't know where to start" or "I don't know which direction to go."
The fourth volume, titled "0 (Zero)," goes back to the very beginning and provides more detailed explanations of how to start embroidery and the steps to take.
As you read through the book, you'll feel as if you're actually learning embroidery from someone right in front of you...by the end of this book you'll have mastered the basics of "Jizashi."
